Tracking Stats
One of the most important things a sports team needs to know is how many wins and losses they have experienced. Knowing this information helps them to develop and execute a plan and aids in correcting any weaknesses. In addition, if the team captain doesn’t know what the teams’ stats are, they will be unable to know how competitive the team really is.
To help organize this information, some teams use league software. I joined a team a few years ago who used this kind of program and it was really helpful both on and off the field. Also, the site was password protected so only members could see the strategies the team was reviewing. The site kept the team informed and allowed it’s participants a lot of flexibility which is important since most people on the team worked dissimilar schedules.
With the use of this program, the coach was able to stay organized and helped the players to do the same. More importantly, it revealed their wins and losses so they weren’t playing blind in the league. They planned their plays accordingly and they knew where they stood and if they had any chance at winning the championship.
