Assembling Catalogs for Our Clients
One of the interesting aspects of my job is that we get a large variety of customers that come through our doors. You see, I work for a printing shop and I help meet our client’s needs for quality printed material. Not only does it require a little bit of creativity, but also a good knowledge of the systems that our shop uses.
Our shop consists of just a couple important things that help to make their ideas become reality. By mastering the technical side of things, it really just comes down to how you can present their needs in a creative manner, which in itself can sometimes be a challenge.
To work in our shop, you just need to have a basic understanding of the document scanners that we use and the data capture systems that we work with. Once they are trained, we let them loose to see what they can come up with.
For example, today we have Jeff and Lisa working on assembling catalogs for our clients. They both just started about a week ago, and I am helping them out when they need it to make their work look top notch.
I will have to say I love this job - there is nothing quite like creating something new every day and getting paid for it.
