Sending Out My Demo
I know that its not exactly an accepted or encouraged practice in the music business, but I just know that if one person actually gives my song a chance, actually puts it into a CD player, I’m going to be a millionaire. I know that this business is so tough and so hard to break into and they don’t exactly look kindly on upstart talent, but I believe in my work and in myself. I’m going to make it! I went out today and got a disc printer, cd printing software, cd labeling sheets, a huge stack of CD’s, bubble envelopes, and tons of slim line jewel cases.
I am going to become a single factory for the next few days, pumping out my single onto easily delivered CD’s. I’ve been reading The Secret a lot lately, and I’ve decided I just need to really visualize my success and take on a positive point of view and mindset. Rome was not built in a day, and neither was the music industry broken into in a day. Everything I read says it takes time, effort, and a lot of work, and I’m totally willing to put that in. I’m going to be a superstar. I’m going to be bigger than Rihanna, and then I’m going to make a video assuring everyone that I am in fact a baller. That is my plan, and I’m sticking to it.
